She had been living with heart disease for years. She was a kind, generous, caring person who put the needs of others before her own. She always had a positive outlook on life. It was a "pleasure" for her to do for others.
We will all miss her lovely smile and her "happy-go-lucky," vibrant personality. It will be very difficult living without her. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She will live on in our hearts and wonderful memories.
Dorothy leaves behind a daughter, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. To her daughter Karin, she will always be in our hearts forever. She was a "a mother like no other."
A memorial service is planned for Sunday, November 29 at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in the Palisades.
