HOLBEACH DROVE SOLDIER'S DEATH
The news has now been received that Pte. John Beagles, son of Mrs/ Wm Beagles, of Holbeach Drove, whom we last week reported as dangerously wounded, has died in France. The first report that he had been wounded was followed by a second message stating that he had passed away on the day on which he received his grave injuries, August 18th. Before joining he worked for Mr. H. W. Farrow, of Holbeach Drove. He was a member of the Whaplode Drove Wesley Guild.
