Mrs. Dolly Jennett Adams,52, died Wednesday afternoon at 4:40 o'clock from complications at her home in Mt. Joy township. She had been blind for the last last six years and been in ill health for five years.
Mrs. Adams was born in Butler township, the daughter of Mrs. Susanna Lentz and the late Israel Lentz. Her brother Albert J. Lentz was the killed in World War I. His name was given to the Gettysburg post of the American Legion.
She was the widow of John F. Adams, a veteran of the civil war. He died on March 7, 1925. Mrs. Adams was a member of the United Bretheran Church at Bglerville.
Surviving are her mother; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Little and Miss Evelyn R. Adams both at home, a step-son Roy Adams, York, two brothers; William E. Lentz, Philadelphia, and Daniel Lentz, Gettysburg, three sisters; Mrs. Joseph Butt, Mrs. Clarence Hewitt and Mrs.Robert Kennell all of Gettysburg and three grandchildren.
Funeral services from the H.B. Bender and Son Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. D. Perry Bucke, pastor of the Gettysburg Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Friends' Grove Cemetery, near Biglerville.
