Margie Florence Wolfe Austin, wife of Charles J. Austin, died at her home in Climax, Friday morning, February 25, 1938 after a lingering illness. She was aged 53 years, 4 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage to Charles J. Austin on December 23, 1908. She is survived by her husband and the following children; Mrs. Cornelia Nulph, Climax; Mrs. Edna Williams, Chickasaw; Mrs. Christina Craig, Rimer R.D., and Leonard Austin at home. One son preceded her in death. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Mary Emahizer, Leechburg; Harry Wolfe, Natrona Heights and Miss Rose Wolfe, Kittanning and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at her late home Sunday afternoon by Rev. Shaffer, pastor of the Church of God at Distant. Interment was made in the Narrows Cemetery. T.T. Meredith of Widnoon was in charge of floral arrangements, The Nichols sisters of Distant rendered three beautiful selections during the service.
