EARNEST WAYNE ANSIEL, 63, of Duncan, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, in Duncan Regional Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cody Deevers officiating. Interment will be in Ratliff City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Alma Baptist Church following the services.
Earnest Wayne was born April 11, 1942 in Tulare, Calif., to William and Minnie Grant Ansiel. He married Sharon Jones in 1962 in Oklahoma City.
He was employed as manager of the Mini Mall gas station in Duncan until his retirement. Earnest loved attending Velma football games and watching his grandson, Justin, play football, and his granddaughter, Jenifer, march in the band. He was affiliated with the Pentecostal church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Bennie Pedigo of Velma; four brothers: Billy Ansiel of Longmont, Colo., and Jack Ansiel, Tommy Ansiel and Raymond Ansiel, all of Fresno, Calif.; and four grandchildren: Justin Pedigo, Jenifer Pedigo, Valerie Ansiel and Chris Sartin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roy Lee Ansiel in 1995; and two brothers.
Bearers will be Pat McClanahan, Charles Oxford, Harvey Love, Justin Pedigo, Scott Jones and Chris Sartin.
