Her funeral was held in the Baptist Church.
Frank was a brother to Minnie C. (Adams) Scott. Their father was A. R. Adams and their mother, Mary (Gear) Adams. Minnie came to Sprague, WA 10 September 1884 and married Stephen E. Scott.
Do not know when Frank and Mary came to WA or married.
Mary Adams was born in New York State and moved from there to Michigan with her mother. It was while in Michigan that she was united in marriage with Simeon Packer, who preceded her in death some thirty years.
In 1884, she was united in marriage to Frank Adams, who along with their two daughters, one son, a brother and other relatives survive her. For many months past, she has been ill, and her last days were full of much suffering. She departed this life at 9:30 pm on Wednesday, January 7.
Her only son of her first marriage, John Packer, was here from Waterville, and attended the funeral which took place from the Baptist Church, Rev. J W Goode of the Free Methodist Church and Rev. W S Lake officiating. Mortician J E Turner had charge of the funeral and the remains were laid to rest in the Harrington Cemetery.
