Harold G. Anderson, 91, 561 Highway S, Sturgeon Bay, died July 18, from injuries received in an automobile accident in the town of Forestville.
He was born Aug 1, 1905, in the town of Forestville to the late John and Marie (Viste) Anderson. Mr. Anderson farmed, worked in the shipyards, was an electrician, worked for the local telephone company and operated the Viste Store on County Trunk S. He played in the Carnot Band and was conversant in Norwegian. He leaves a legacy of written stories and family history. He will be missed by his loving family. He was a former member of the Forest Lutheran church and Mens Club.
Survivors include a sister, Gertrude Anderson, Washington Island; sister-in-law Dorothy Anderson, Algoma; five nieces and four nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora and Gladys; and two brothers, Conrad and Glenn.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 22, 1 p.m. at Forbes Funeral Home, Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home until time of service.
Memorials may be given to Forest Cemetery Fund or Tanum Forest Home Hope Ministry in his memory.
