SHIRLEY LOUISE (CRYER) HUTCHISON
Shirley Louise (Cryer) Hutchison, was born November 19, 1960 in Boise City, Oklahoma. The second child of Vernon and Alma Jean (Bulls) Cryer. She attended Felt School all of her 12 years. She married David Allen Hutchison March 10, 1979. To this union three children were born, Stuart Allen, Carrie Louise and Brittany Regina. They have three grandchildren Kyle Allen, Kole Connor and Kamron Turner, one daughter-in-law Jamie, and one son-in-law John Coble.
Shirley Passed away November 25, 2006, in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 46 years. David and Shirley lived in Clayton, New Mexico, the Coldwater Community, Texas, Dalhart, Texas and Felt, Oklahoma. She was active in the Cimarron County Free Fair and served on the Board of Directors as President and Secretary. She was raised in the World Wide Church of God, joined the Wheeless Baptist Church in 2002, later joined the 1st Baptist Church of Dalhart, Texas. She along with her husband David had for the last year been active in reviving the Mexhoma Union Church. She spent hour after hour writing stories on the bible on her computer. She helped her husband on the farm, loved driving combines and tractors and enjoyed takning care of the farm aminals.
Survivors include: her parents Vernon and Alma Jean Cryer, Wheeless, Oklahoma, one son Stuart and wife Jamie, Mexhoma, Oklahoma, two daughters Carrie Coble and husband John, stationed in Baghdad, Iraq with the Army's 1st Armored Division, and Brittney Hutchison, of the home, her husband David Hutchison, Felt, Oklahoma, one sister, Carol Buckner and husband Gearld, Dickens, Texas. Nieces & nephews; Stephenie Kipper Turpin, Dalhart, Texas, Jarrod and Tasha Hutchison of Amarillo, Texas and Kurt Buckner of Hooker, Oklahoma. Numerous relatives and friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held Thrusday, November 30, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Felt School, Felt, Oklahoma with Rodney Weatherly, Galen Smith and Gary Reid officiating. Interment was in the Mexhoma Cemetery, The family suggested memorials either to the Cimarron County Free Fair or the Mexhoma Union Church, the may be left in care of Cimarron Mortuary, Boise City, Oklahoma.
