Sylva-Romaine Caldwell, age 80, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014. Romaine was born on February 11, 1934, in Madison County to the late William and Helen Wyatt Caldwell. Romaine enjoyed doing anything outside.
In addition to his parents, Romaine was preceded in death by two brothers, Grover Wyatt and William Caldwell; and one sister, Vinetty Pullum.
Romaine is survived by his wife, Amanda Caldwell; one daughter, Ronda Sisco; two sons, Jackson Romaine and Riley Thomas Caldwell; three sisters, Betty Cochran, Mickey Moore, and Eller Kirkpatrick; two grandsons, Jesse and Zachary Sisco; one great-aunt, Magline Martin; and one great-uncle, Charlie Wyatt.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Pastor Steve Dolbee officiating. Burial will follow in Ebbs Cemetery in the Roaring Fork Community. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
