Dama Lynn Alderman, 47, of Hillsville, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Alderman of the home;
daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Shawn Robinson of Galax and Chrissy and Danny Peoples of Galax;
son and daughter-in-law, Timothy James and Jessica Sumner of Woodlawn;
her father, Clayton Dixon of Fries; a step son, Christopher Dewayne Alderman of Hillsville;
a brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Barbara Dixon of Galax;
a sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and Earnest Davis of Fries; six grandchildren; and one step grandchild.
A funeral will be held today Wednesday, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Claude Holderfield and the Rev. Eddie Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery.
