Entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 14, 2001 at his residence on Wadmalaw Island, Titus Bissell Anderson , husband of Alicia Seabrook Anderson, residence, Wadmalaw Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Titus Bissell Anderson are invited to attend the funeral services of the former, Friday, August 17, 2001 at ten o'clock in the St. John's Episcopal Church. Interment, Churchyard. The relatives and friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, Thursday, between six and eight o'clock.

Mr. Anderson was born November 11, 1938, in Charleston, SC, the son of the late William S. Anderson and the late Lula Cole Anderson. He was the owner of Anderson and Anderson Electrical Contractors, Inc. He graduated from St. John's High School and attended Clemson College. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church where he had served on the vestry and was an usher for many years. He was an avid photographer, a member of the Sea Island Yacht Club, a former board member of Sea Island Academy and he served in the South Carolina Army National Guard where he was a member of Company B, 118th Infantry Rifle Team. He was a former president of the Charleston Electrical Contractors Association, former member of the German Friendly Society and former member of the Palmetto Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife of Wadmalaw Island, SC; one daughter, Alicia Anderson Thompson of Charleston, SC; three sons, Titus Bissell Anderson , Jr. of James Island, James Clark Anderson of Columbia, and Edward Cole Anderson of Wadmalaw Island; three grandsons, Marshall, Andrew and Bradley Anderson of Wadmalaw; one brother, William Swinton Anderson, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; his aunt, Elizabeth C. Conway; his stepmother, Emma Guy Anderson of Johns Island and several nieces and nephews.
