Alicia Palmer Seabrook Anderson entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of November 9, 2006, at her residence on Allandale Plantation, Wadmalaw Island,
South Carolina. She was the widow of Titus Bissell Anderson. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Sunday, November 12, 2006 in St. John's Episcopal Church at Three o'clock. Interment, Churchyard. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel between five and seven o'clock Saturday. A reception will be held following the interment in the Parish Life Building. Mrs. Anderson was born on December 5, 1940 in Charleston, a daughter of Margaret Irving Palmer and Oliver Francis Seabrook. who had nine children. She graduated from The Wadmalaw School in 1954 and from Saint John's High School in 1958. She was the Vice-President of Anderson and Anderson Electrical Contractors, Incorporated, a member of the Sea Island Yacht Club, a life-long member of Saint John's Episcopal Church on John's Island where she served for over twenty-five years on the Altar Guild, was chairman of the Prayer Team and the Flower Guild, was a Prayer Chain member, taught Sunday School and Bible School, and was once the head of the Nursery volunteers. She loved to kayak in the Leadenwah Creek with her sisters and spending time with her four children and nine grandchildren. She is survived by her four children: Alicia Palmer Anderson Thompson (Fred) of Wadmalaw Island, Titus Bissell Anderson, Jr. (Mary) of James Island, Edward Cole Anderson (Shannan) of Wadmalaw Island, James Clark Anderson (Meredith) of Columbia; nine grandchildren: Edward Marshall Anderson, Andrew Cole Anderson, Bradley Seabrook Anderson, Katherine Alexandria Anderson, Morgan Ravenel Anderson, Alan Randolph Anderson, Elizabeth Grace Anderson, Megan Condon Anderson, and Caroline Olivia Anderson; two brothers: William Jenkins
Seabrook (Katherine) of Johns Island, SC and John Ferrars Seabrook (Mary Agnes) of Wadmalaw Island, SC; four sisters: Margaret Seabrook Elsaesser (Bill) of Albany, Ohio: Marianne Seabrook Stein (Harold) of Wadmalaw Island, SC: Gaylord Seabrook Bryant (Pete) of Wadmalaw Island, SC and Caroline Seabrook Williams of Mt. Pleasant, NC. Mrs. Anderson was predeceased by two brothers: James Clark Seabrook and Oliver Francis Seabrook, Jr. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3896 Leeds Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405-7443; the Alzheimer Association, Coastal Carolina SC Chapter, P.
