Phyllis L. Jones Farnham of Tampico, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1993 at St. Mary's Hospital—Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., of lupus. She was born Feb 21, 1928 in Iberia to Leslie and Ruth (Arnold) Jones. On June 29, 1947 she was married in St. Louis to Jack Farnham, who survives at the home.
Mrs. Farnham was a teacher's aid at Bi-County Special Co-op for eight years, retiring five years ago. She was a member of the Tampico United Methodist Church, the Rebecca Circle and the UMW at the church and the Tampico Eastern Star. She was reared and went to school in Iberia.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Patricia Rittenhouse of Fairbury, Ill., Karen Garrett of Genesco, Ill., and Cynthia Melton of Tampick, Ill.; a son Rodney Farnham of Mishawaka, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; a great-granadson; a brother, Doyle Jones of St.Louis; and a sister, Eva Jo Grady of Iberia.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 6, at the Tampico United Methodist Church with burial in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
