John Bauer, a well known pioneer resident of Caledonia, died Friday evening at his home, aged 63 years. He was born and raised in Caledonia and lived there all his life, following the pursuit of farmer. He leaves three sons, John Bauer, Colorado; Connley Bauer, Washington; Charles Bauer, Racine; and four daughters, Mrs John Stransky, Mrs Edward Peterson, and Miss Lena Bauer of Racine, and Mrs Frank Buxton of Minnesoda; nine grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.

OBITUARY Bauer--The funeral of John Bauer, a pioneer resident of Caledonia, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home of his daughter, Mrs John Stranskey, 1827 Douglas avenue, with interment at the German National cemetery in Caledonia.
