BARNHILL, WAYNE "WORMY" age 56 of Adger, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013. Wormy was an esteem member of the Bessemer Elks Lodge # 721 who held many offices while a member; he was also the owner of the Dogwood Trucking Company. Mr. Barnhill is preceded in death by his wife, Robin Hall Barnhill; parents, Joyel and Mary Boyd Barnhill; and a sister, Susie Kay Summers. He is survived by his son, Joey (Laura) Barnhill; daughter, Tammy (David) Barnhill; six grandchildren, Ashley Nichole, Austin, Kyle, Payton, Braden and Nicholas; three brothers, Jerry, Scott and Josh Barnhill; two sisters, Jackie Barnhill Martin and Donna Barnhill; his best friend Sam, the dog. The family will receive friends at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:00 am at Adger Cemetery.
