Helen M. Argust, 82, formerly of North Vine Street, Hazleton, died early Thursday morning at Green Valley Gardens, Drums, where she had been a guest the past three years. She was born in Hazleton, the daughter of the late Harry and May (Acker) Rosenstock. She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Hazleton, and was a retired cashier at the former Leader store in Hazleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Argust, in 1980, and one sister, Edith L. Rosenstock. She is survived by three brothers, Conrad and John Rosenstock, both of Hazleton, and Albert Rosenstock, North Wyomissing, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Rosenstock Funeral Home. The Rev. J. David Hengen, pastor of Grace United Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Grace United Church of Christ, 169 N. Laurel St., Hazleton.
