Eula Strickland Adams, 85, of Lauderhill, Florida died on May 6, 2004 following a lengthy illness. A Florida native, she was born in Grandin and reared in the Palatka area. After graduating from high school she completed Business College and worked as a private secretary in the Miami area for several years. She married and was the devoted mother of five children. She is predeceased by four brothers; I.H., John C., Edwin, and Alton Strickland and one sister, Louise Robertson. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Adams; her five children, Jeanne Adams, Susan Adams, Dale Adams, Thomas Adams and Dena Adams; grandchild, Kyleigh Adams; and sisters-in-law Adele Strickland and Elizabeth Strickland. Funeral arrangements are being handled through Van Orsdel Funeral Home, Pembroke Pines. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 2:30pm in Woodlawn Cemetery, 3260 S.W. 8 Street, Miami.
