Civil War: Company B, 6th California Infantry
Frederick Miltz enlisted as a private at San Francisco, California, February 25, 1864, and was mustered into Company B, 6th California Infantry, at the Presidio of San Francisco February 28. Private Miltz died of pneumonia at Benicia Barracks and was buried in the post cemetery.
