Georgetown(CNS) - Harley S. Bostwick, 62, of 211 S. 2nd , Georgetown, died at his home at 9 p.m. yesterday (April 13, 1966). He had been ill several months.
Born Nov. 14, 1903, in Indianola, he was the son of George S. and Addie Jackson Bostwick. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was married in Champaign County on April 11, 1922, to Patricia Walker who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Harley D. of South Bend, Ind., George of Indianapolis, Ind., and Carl. L. of Fort Rucker, Ala,; a daughter, Mrs. Neil Tyler of Heidelberg, Germany, and nine grandchildren.
Also, a brother Floyd Bostwick of Danville, and five sisters, Mrs. Gladys Grinestaff of Danville, and Mrs. Helen Cox, Mrs. Beryle Smith, Mrs. Eileen Erwin and Mrs. Doris Johnson, all of Hoopeston.
He was a member of the Georgetown American Legion Post 203 and the Danville American Disabled Veterans.
Friends will be received at the Houghton Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Glenn Patten officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Allerton. There will be military services by the American Legion.
