Martha died July 26, 2013 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of Burkeville, she liked hunting fishing, sewing and spending time with family. She lived to see six generations two ways within her family.
Survivors include two sons, W.H. Brittian of Anacco, Louisiana and W.T. Brittian, Jr. of Burkeville, four daughters, Thelma Kay of Anacco, Louisiana, Janice Burr, Jewell Savoy and Caroline Swain, all of Burkeville, thirty-four grandchildren and a number of great great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents James Henry Miller and Nancy Adaline Smith Miller, two brothers and four sister, her husband of 57 years William T. Brittian, Sr., two grandchildren Buford Kay and J.W. Jordan, and one great grandchild.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
