Catherine Anderle, 84, of McGregor, and formerly of Cameron, died Monday, September 3, 2007, at a McGregor nursing home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 6, 2007, at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Cameron with Msgr. Arthur Michalka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Monica's Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Wednesday, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Catherine was born in Cameron, Texas, to the late Frank and Marie (Kunz) Michalka. She married Walter Anderle. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church where she had served in the Ladies Society and choir. Catherine was a retired registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994; and son, Stephen in 1979; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include daughters: Jane Kutscherousky, of Dallas, Cecilia Maricle, of Waco, and Mary Ann Woodall, of McGregor; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild; brother, Monsignor Arthur Michalka, of Morgans Point; sister, Christine Karnowski, of Alcoa, Tenn; other relatives and many friends.
