Daniel L. Jacquez, 26, died in Las Cruces.
A rosary and funeral mass were held at St. Anthony's Church, with burial following in the Chamberino Cemetery in Chamberino.
He was a lifetime resident of the Anthony and Las Cruces areas. He was survived by his wife, Mary Jo Jacquez, Las Cruces; a son Daniel Abraham Jacquez of Mesquite; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arturo Jacquez of Anthony; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Clementa B. Leos of Chamberino; two brothers, Arturo Jaquez Jr., of Milwaukee, WI and Albert L. Jacquez of Las Cruces; a sister, Rosemarie Melon, of Mesilla Park; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers were Al Apodaca Jr., Jerry Borunda, Pete Jacquez Jr., Frank Leos Jr., Sammy Villalobos, Tommy Chavez. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Trujillo's Styles softball team of Anthony.
