James Christopher Bock, 51, of 7441 Caratoke Hwy., Jarvisbug, NC died Monday, February 25, 2013 at Albemarle Hospital. A native of Suffolk, VA, he was the son of Frances Dameron Bock and the late Robert Felton Bock. He worked as a Correctional Officer with the Pasquotank Prison System.
Along with his mother, he is survived by a sister, Catherine Switzer and husband, Dennis of Suffolk, VA; and two brothers, Felton Bock and wife, Beatrice and William "Fred" Bock and wife, Mary of Jarvisburg. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Humphreys.
A funeral service will take place Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Grandy Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steven King officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p. m. at Twiford Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Laurel Memorial Gardens.
