Joseph married to Theresa Proschko in 1912 at Shiner, Lavaca County, TX. They continued to make their home in the community until 1934 where they were blessed with the birth of four sons and four daughters. In 1934 the couple moved to El Campo. About five years later they moved to Houston and continued to reside there. Joseph provided for his family as a skilled carpenter throughout his life. ~~ Upon his death, he was survived by all of eight his children (now linked below). He was also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary Pilsner of Nordheim, Mrs. Rosie Wild of Dallas, Mrs. Theresa Wood of San Antonio along with 17 grandchildren. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, John and two sisters, Katie and Annie.
