Margaret Ross Arnold married Rev. James Washington Arnold on Nov. 26, 1836 in Spencer, Indiana. They had ten children. Her husband was both a farmer and Minister for this Log Creek Church that was founded in 1867. They are key figures in the development of this area. Margaret died sometime after the 1880 census. Her daughter Rebecca D. Arnold Fettinger who married Samuel Fettinger can be found in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Pike, Winslow, Indiana. Her son James died in the Civil War and is also buried in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Her son Joseph F. Arnold is in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Pike, Winslow, Indiana.
