Sarah Barrett was the step-daughter of Samuel Stevens. She was unmarried when she died in Stow at the age of 19.
Sarah's mother, Sarah Rice first married Joseph Barat (Barrett) on Aug. 16, 1733 in Grafton, MA. Their daughter Sarah Barrett was born on Aug. 28, 1735 in Grafton. Joseph Barrett died on April 21, 1737 in his 30th year in Grafton.
Samuel married Sarah Rice about 1738.
Sarah Rice was born in 1716 in Sudbury, MA, the daughter of Phineas Rice (Aug. 24, 1682, Marlborough, MA to Sept. 4, 1768, Grafton, MA) and the granddaughter of Joseph Rice (March 13, 1637, Sudbury, MA to Dec 23, 1711, Stow).
Sarah Barrett died March 2, 1754 and Samuel Stevens died March 4, 1754 in Stow, possibly in an epidemic.
Sarah Rice Barrett Stevens remarried after the death of Samuel. The marriage intentions were announced in Stow, Sept. 20, 1756 to Capt. Ebenezer Killug (Kellogg) of Hadley, MA.
