Frank Ayio Jr. An Army veteran, retired West Baton Rouge Parish school system employee and businessman, he died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 64 and a resident of Port Allen.
Visiting at Poplar Grove Baptist Church, religious service, conducted by the Rev. Dr. S.H. Freeman. Interment in Mulatto Bend Benevolent Cemetery, Port Allen.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Odile Ayio; daughter, Jennifer Talley and companion Roderick Landon, of Port Allen; son, Frank Ayio III and companion Grenesha Brown, of Port Allen; sisters, Odetta Ayio Hood and Carmella Ayio Brown, of Friendswood; and three grandchildren, Jasmine and Kennisha Talley, and Paris London, all of Port Allen.
Preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Enolia Ayio; paternal grandparents, a brother, Milton James Ayio, and two sisters, Audrey Ayio Hayes and Enola Ayio Bible.
