Lillian Collins, a homemaker, was born on Aug. 12, 1922, in West Baton Rouge Parish. Lillian was called home to be with the Lord at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 86.
Visiting at Hall's Celebration Center, religious service, conducted by the Rev. Rodney O. Freeman. Interment in Mulatto Bend Cemetery.
Survived by five daughters, Audrey Holland, Ellen Matthews, Josie Payton, Ellemae Collins and Patricia Riley; two sons, Daniel and Julius Morgan; three sisters, Annie Collins, Ellen Ayo and Josephine Breaux; three brothers, Joe, Charlie and Hayes Collins; and sons-in-law, Earnest Matthews and Joseph Holland.
Preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and Charles Morgan; and a grandson, Troydel Morgan.
She was a member of Calvary Third Baptist Church and the deaconess board.
