She was a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the World War I Auxiliary and a member of the First United Methodist Church, all in Metropolis, Illinois.
She was survived by two sons, Donald and Vernell Baccus; a daughter, Katherine Henderson; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Baccus; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter and three brothers.
Funeral services for Minnie Hanna Baccus was held on January 6, 1987 in the First United Methodist Church in Metropolis followed by interment in the IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis.
