BRIGHT BOY'S SAD DEATH
Owen Baker Dead and Little Brother, Leonard, is Seriously Ill In a Williamsport Hospital.
Owen Baker, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Baker, whose illness was noted last week, died at the home of his grandparents on Saturday afternoon. Death was due to an attack of Bright's disease. His brother, Leonard, developed symptoms of the same disease and the same evening was taken to the Kose Hospital at Williamsport. The latest reports are that the boy is somewhat improved and that there are hopes of his recovery.
Owen was a bright and winsome boy, a favorite with neighbors and friends, and his death is a sad blow to the family. He will be greatly missed and the family have the sympathy of the entire community in their affliction.
The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from the home of the grandparents, the services being in charge of Rev. L. Norman Leith, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment in the Watsontown cemetery.
