David K. Headden, 66, of Newbern, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at his residence.

He was a heavy-equipment pipeline mechanic, member of the Freemasons and member of International Union Operating Engineers.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Mr. Shane McClelland, Mr. Dusty McClelland and Mr. David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Beth Page Cemetery in Mason Hall.

The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Monday until service time.

Survivors include his wife, Sandi Rinowski Headden of Fall Creek, Wis.; a son, Brian Headden of Newbern; stepchildren Kimberly, Tammara and Lowell of Eau Claire, Wis., and Doyle of Florida; sisters Jennifer McClelland and Judith Walton, both of Jackson; and seven step-grandchildren, Alyssa, Adam, Mikayla, Jaiden, Kennedy, Swain and Maggee of Eau Claire, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Virginia Smith Headden.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan McFarland, Rand Godwin, William McDonald, Dick Brown, Mark Pledge, Donnie Scobey, Mark Butler and Zach Osborn. Honorary pallbearer will be Tony McFarland.

The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of donor's choice.
