Mr. Bervick was born September 29, 1869 at Trondhjem, Norway, and came to this country in 1901.
In 1905 he settled in Schroeder where he was engaged as a commercial fisherman.
He leaves one brother, Albert, at Schroeder, and three sisters; Mrs. Thora Tveekrem, Boston, Mass, Mrs. Julia Hammer and Miss Hansine Bervick, Trondhjem and one nephew, Chris Hammer, Hovland.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon at Zoar Lutheran church at Tofte, Rev. A. L. Edmonds in charge of services. Mrs. Edmonds sang for the services, accompanied by Mrs. Harold M. Nelson. Burial was in the Schroeder cemetery. Pall bearers included: Hjalmar Pederson, Thor Carlson, John Alnes, Herman and Mike Mickelsen and John Erickson. – 2/28/1946
