Elise , July 12, 1898,97, of Pershing, died Sunday October 1, 1995, at Frene Valley Health Center in Hermann, where she had been a resident for two years. She was born at Pershing July 12, 1898, a daughter of Frank and Lizzie Kicker, and attended the Pershing school. She was baptized August 11, 1898, Mrs Broeker was married at Pershing, March 21, 1918, to William Broeker, the couple making their home at Pershing. Mr Broeker preceded her in death September 8, 1966. Mrs Broeker was a member of the Pershing Ladies Guild since 1922, joined the organization when she was 24 years old. She was a member of Missouri Farm Bureau many years. She was an advid quilter. She is survived by one son, Harvey Broeker of Linn; one sister Mrs Bert Hilda Johnson of Ballwin; two grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Two brothers precded her in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 4, at Zion-St.Peters Untied Church of Christ at Pershing with Rev Keith Ballinger officiating.
