A retired licensed practical nurse, she died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She was 90, a native of Napoleonville and a resident of New Orleans. Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, on Friday, March 4, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visiting continues at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Napoleonville on Saturday from 9 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. David Gilton. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by a devoted daughter, Barbara H. Williams; a devoted son, Steven H. Hamilton; a brother and spouse, Alfred and Mary Belle Terry; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hamilton; a daughter, Marilyn F. Hamilton; parents, Mattie Ross and George Bradley; grandmother, Martha Ross; two brothers, Samuel and Junious Dickerson; and two sisters, Florida B. Lemon and Olevia Terry.
