Dornessa Michelle Tackno "Nessa" Bessye, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Port Allen, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 33.
Visiting at Hall's Celebration Center until religious service, conducted by the Rev. Johnny Griffin Sr. Interment in Our Lady of Knights Cemetery in Port Allen.
She is survived by her mother, Debra Ann Tackno Daigre; two daughters, Debra Ann Bessye and Dominique Nicole Bessye; three sons, Devin Dewayne Bessye, Anthony Lee Bessye and Maqushus Devante Bessye; a sister, Sukether LaTonya Snearl; brother-in-law, Kendrick Dale Snearl Sr.; two brothers, Tenoa Andre Daigre and Treon DeMarco Daigre; a nephew, Kendrick Dale Snearl Jr.; four nieces, DeLeaka LaShae Snearl, Kendricka Dale Snearl, Amber Roche Snearl and Courtney Danyale Snear; and a devoted companion, Louis Rome III.
Preceded in death by her father, Phillip Tackno, Jr.; grandmothers, Wilhelmenia Spurlock and Louise Viola Logan; and grandfather, Willie C. Stone.
