A housesitter and nurses' aide and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died of cancer, was 48 and a native of San Francisco.
Survived by her husband, Micheal J. Evans; former husband and close friend, the Rev. Carl M. Williams Sr.; a daughter, Catrecca C. Williams; a son, Carl M. Williams Jr.; four sisters, Jocita Williams, Bridgette Williams, Debra Lee and Carmie Brown; four brothers, Cothern, Don, Eugene and Wayne Williams; and two grandchildren, Kelvin T. Muse Jr. and LaShea J. Williams.
Preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Winnie Hawkins; brother, Dave L. Williams III; and a nephew, Cothern Williams Jr.
