A retired LPN and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 1:05 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Ochsner Extended Care Hospital in Kenner. He was 64 and a native of Natchez, Miss.
Visiting at New Mount Olive Baptist Church on Saturday, religious service, conducted by the Rev. Michael Byrd. Interment in Old Folk Home Cemetery, Port Allen.
Survived by his wife, Katie Mae Woodfork; mother, Josephine Washington Chisom; stepdaughter, Demetria Tate; sons, Kenneth Charles Woodfork and spouse Lena, and Larry Woodfork Jr.; stepsons, Charles Lemont Williams, Alvin Dewayne Williams, Staff Sgt. Ray Anthony Williams and spouse Tamara; sisters, Patricia Woodfork, Lula Thomas; brother, Kenneth Raye Woodfork and spouse Kristy; great-aunt, Idella Barnes; great-uncle, Floyd Barnes; devoted friends, David Brown and Adam Carnby; and 18 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his father, Wilbert Woodfork; mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
