Mr. James F. Abbott, age 75, of 246 F st., died in his home March 26. Mr. Abbott was a native of San Antonio and a contractor. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Alice Abbott, city; sons, Carl A. and Aubrey A. Abbott, both of this city; daughters, Mrs. Ruby Tinsley, Dix, Ill.; Mrs. Dorothy Berry, Waurika, Okla., and Mrs. Ruth Gingell, New York city; sisters, Mrs. S. E. Heninger, Mrs. P. G. Rogers, Mrs. Mattie Schlessing, Mrs. Ula Mae Peckens and Mrs. May Tolliman, all of this city; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28. Interment in City Cemetery No. 3.
