Louise Nauheimer formerly of Rolling Meadows Visitation for Louise Nauheimer (nee Byrd), 85, of Arlington Heights, will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the services at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (½ block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows. Interment will be in Glen Oaks Cemetery, Hillside. Born Jan 10, 1922, in Pooler, Ga., to the late John Homer and Annie Byrd, she died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at Church Creek Health Care Center, Arlington Heights, after a short illness. She had worked as an assembler for Ogden Manufacturing for many years. She was a beautiful, kind and caring person, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed playing cards and crocheting with her friends at Church Creek and family. She was the wife of the late John E.; mother of Carol (Sylvester) Hollins, Mary (Richard) Canan and the late Barbara Hanson; grandmother of Kelly (Tom) Spielman, John (Amy) Stockman, Tessa and Miles Canan, and Tom and Kim Hanson; great-grandmother of Johnny and Landon Stockman; and sister of George, Homer (Esther) and Robert (Nancy) Byrd.
