Lloyd Dean Bartley, 64, of Mokane, died Saturday, June 26, 1999 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.
He was born September 21, 1934, in Steedman, to the late James Richard "Dick" Bartley and Abbigale (Berry) Bartley. He married Wilma "Wanda" Ward on September 10, 1955. She preceeded him in death on January 9, 1997.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Bartley of Jefferson City, four daughters, Laura Akers of Licking, Janet Gerling, Missy Paschang and Gail Christian, all of Mokane, seven grandchildren, Jason and Wendy Akers, Wilma and Heather Christian, Angela and Gabriel Gerling and Brandon Akers, three brothers, Bee Bartley of Mokane, Dale Bartley of New Bloomfield and Lonnie Bartley of Hams Prairie and one sister, Loretta Farmer of Fulton.
He was preceeded in death by one son, Mike Bartley, one sister and one niece.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was employed in construction as a steel worker. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union No. 14627. He was a avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Services will be 10AM today at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Bruce Williamson will officiate. Burial will follow in Steedman Cemetary. Visitation was Monday at at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Association or Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.
