Mr. Bryant was a retired farmer and school bus driver in Grant Parish. He also worked for many years with Montgomery Furniture and Hardware Co. and Montgomery Tank Co. He was a member of Hargis Baptist Church.

He was survived by his wife, Opal Guin Bryant of Montgomery; one daughter, Janell Lemoine of Montgomery; two sons, Loyd Larry Bryant of Montgomery and Herschel Bryant of Colfax; one brother, Charles W. Bryant of Montgomery; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
