Willie Altman, seventeen month-old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Altman, was drowned in a pond in the back yard of the park cottage occupied by his grandmother and owned by Rev. W.H. McGee. The child slipped away and a few minutes after was found floating face down in the standing water caused by the recent rains. Two doctors worked with the little one, but life could not be restored. The parents are heartbroken, and the tragedy is doubly sad as the father is perhaps at death's door caused by a kick from a yearling on Dr. Heller's ranch where he is employed. The family was here on a visit.
