A member of the Donner/Reed Party.

Jonathan was one of the unfortunates that was left behind at Starved Camp by the Second Relief. He was later rescued by John S. Stark.

Jonathan survived the entrapment at Donner Lake, and the subsequent rescue, but he never recovered from the ordeal and later, by the end of the summer, he died and was buried near Sutter's Fort. He was approx. 7 years old at the time of his death.
