Nancy Hyer Alsbrooks, age 63, died peacefully in her sleep on March 11, 2009 in Maypearl, Texas. She was born September 30, 1945 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Hood Hyer and Walter Daniel Hyer; and her son-in-law Ronald L. Farthing.
Nancy is survived by husband, Charles W. Alsbrooks; daughters, Julie A. Farthing and Sherry L. Deaton; brothers, Ronald C. Hyer and Ralph N. Hyer; grandchildren, 3rd Petty Officer Adrian Gerald Farthing, Aaron Jacob Farthing, Alexis Deaton and Anna Deaton; uncle, Clair Burch Hood and wife Helen; nieces: Erin E. Krohl, and Leah Noel Wilson; nephews, Dr. Randall N. Hyer, Christopher K. Hyer, and Eric Hyer; cousins, Larry Hood, C. B. Hood Jr., Robert Hood, Mickey Hood, and Tammy Hood Jennings; cousins at heart, Carol and William Jones; her North Dakota Family, in particular, Carol and Fran Cox and Kathy Bechtold, along with many other friends and acquaintances.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Oak Branch Cemetery.
