The funeral for Frank M. Blair, 67, Sleepy Acres Trailer Park, was held Sunday at Green Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley E. Brown, pastor of Richville United Church, officiating. Burial was in Barnes Corners Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Gouverneur Rescue Squad. Mr. Blair was found dead Nov. 5 in his 1979 Chrysler near Hailesboro. He had apparently taken his life by carbon monoxide poisoning, according to State Police.
Surviving are six sons; Francis Mount Vernon; Ohio, Donald, Ronald and David all of Gouverneur; Morris and Joseph, Antwerp; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Marie) Cancione, Rochester; and Mrs. George (Mary Jean) Dale, Holly; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren;
four brothers, Charles. Utah; Edward, Hagerstown, Md., Joseph, Hammond; and William, Canton; five sisters, Mrs.
Leslie (Helen) Donaldson, Canton; Mrs. Lowell (Mildred)
Pike, Dundee; Leona Hodge, Rochester; Mrs. Robert (Amy) McCrea, Rochester; and Eva, Canada; and nieces and nephews.
He was born Dec. 29, 1919 in Potsdam, a son of Kay and
Louise Dominie Blair. He attended Ogdensburg schools. He was employed at the George Hall Corporation in Ogdensburg for several years. He had operated a dairy farm in the Antwerp area and later worked at the former Tomlinson Brothers gravel pit. He later drove school bus in the Gouverneur Central School District He was last employed as
an equipment operator on construction in Ohio.
Two marriages ended in divorce.
