Brenda was a hard working woman, she worked as a dispatcher for the Adair County Police Department , a First Responder for the Welling Fire Department, and also as a nurse aide at various facilities. Her favorite job was as loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother caring for the family she adored. She loved being out doors and enjoyed every chance to go fishing, camping, compete in a horseshoe tournament and being out in the yard. Every year she looked forward to deer camping with her niece and nephew, Julie and Jeffrey Kizzia. She liked going to yard sales looking for a bargain. Her family was her pride and joy and she loved doing special dinners for them like her famous fried chicken and frybread, potatoes and brown beans. She had a wonderful sense of humor and spirited personality. She loved anytime spent with her children and more recently, watching her grandchildren grow. A Christian by faith, Brenda was a member of the Long Springs Baptist Church. Brenda's health began to fail her and she went home to her Lord and Savior on November 20th, 2014 in Tulsa, OK with her family by her side. She was 49 years old. She will be greatly missed for her smile and the love she showed those around her.
