Esther A. Baltozer, 79, of 2073 Scotland Ave., Apt. 29, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at her residence in Menno Village.
Born April 14, 1919, near Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Mary R. Gontz Mooney.
Mrs. Baltozer was a member of Mount Pleasant United Brethren Church, Chambersburg.
A 1937 graduate of Chambersburg High School, she had worked as a secretary at Shippensburg Gas Co., Shippensburg. She moved to Gainesville, Fla., in 1969 and was employed by the Holton Construction Co. Upon moving back to Chambersburg, she worked for Dr. David M. Rahauser, Chambersburg, as a secretary, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Chapter 1507, Chambersburg.
Her husband, Charles E. Baltozer, died in 1975.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey L. of Gainesville; a grandson, Anthony J. Baltozer of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Harold T. Mooney, Merion M. Mooney and Vern V. Mooney, all of Chambersburg; and two sisters, Dorothy M. Helman of Shippensburg and Mary R. Snoke of Chambersburg. She also was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Burial will be in Forest Meadows Memorial Park East, Gainesville.
