Bee Eugene Bellamy, 94, of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Binger Nursing Home. She was born November 29, 1918 to C. W. and Mary Jane (Harris) Deweese. She was a graduate of Fort Cobb High School. She married the love of her life, John Bellamy on November 30, 1935 in Fort Cobb. They celebrated their 69th Wedding Anniversary prior to his going home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2005. From this union was born three sons and one daughter. Bee's greatest love was for the Lord and her family. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her happiest times were spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. She enjoyed being a farmers wife, taking care of the kids, cattle ,pigs, cooking, canning, sewing and upholstering. She also cooked the at Fort Cobb School for several years. She enjoyed listening to the kid's and grandkid's sing gospel hymns. She also enjoyed attending all the baseball and basketball Many a precious memories were made out on their farm. Bee was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church until she was fourteen years old. She then moved her membership to First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb in 1973mand has been an active member and Prayer Warrior until her health began to fail her a few years ago. She now has joined her husband, John in their heavenly home with Jesus their Lord and Savior to live forever more,
She is survived by three son's; Larry and Sandra Bellamy, Mike and Elaine Bellamy of Fort Cobb, Lynn and Rhonda Bellamy of Anadarko, one daughter, Pat and Chuck Hardesty of Bridgecreek, Oklahoma, thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and twenty seven great great grandchildren. .
one brother, Ellis numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, C. W. and Mary Jane Deweese and her husband, John Bellamy, one brother, Gillis Deweese and three sisters,Fama Webb. Lottie Weinmeister and Mildred Orrell.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 11,2013at the First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb, OK Officiating: Rev. Matt Stewart
Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, South of Fort Cobb
Service will be held under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home, Fort Cobb, OK
