Mathilda, 64, Montezuma, died at Gibbons Hospital. She was taken there after she was struck by a truck at the intersection of Main and Market Streets, Celina. She was suffering from shock and a broken right wrist. Death, however, was due to a coronary thrombosis and not as a result of the injuries received in the accident according to the doctors at the hospital.
She was a daughter of Henry and Amelia (Dabbelt) Dorsten. She married Benjamin Borgert, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Edwin, Dayton, Ray and Sylvester, Montezuma, and Elmer, Minster; three daughters, Mabel Meyers, Dayton, Norma Bruns, Montezuma, and Marcella Liette, New Weston; two brothers, Ed, Columbus and Theodore, Coldwater; one sister, Ida Klosterman, Dayton; and twenty-three grandchildren.
Solemn requiem high Mass was offered at Our lady of Guadeloupe Catholic Church.
