EVELYN LUCINDA ADAMS, 90, of Barboursville, has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father and will be waiting for her family and friends at Heaven's Golden Gate. She was born August 2, 1916, in Birmingham, Ala., a daughter of the late Chester and Clara Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Wyatt E. Adams, four brothers and two sisters. She was a wonderful Christian mother, grandmother and homemaker, a very faithful and active member of Elmwood Baptist Church for many years, and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, #95, Barboursville. She leaves behind three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Sandee Adams, David and Darlene Adams, all of Barboursville, and Franklin and Bobbie Adams of Sibley, La.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2006, at Elmwood Baptist Church by Pastor Rick Glass, Pastor Bob Browning, and Pastor Kenny Allen.
